Yates High School aka Third Ward High, broke the national scoring last night by scoring 100 points for the 16 straight games. The previous national record was held by, You guessed it, Yates High School 2010. That Yates team finished 34-0, won a 4A state title, and was named the High School National Champion.
This current 2020 Yates team has the opportunity to make that same run, but for now, we’ll celebrate the new scoring record. This team is led by high-level guard play from Rubin Jones, Antwon Norman, and Elijah Elliott.
