Ja’Kobe Walter led McKinney to its first-ever state championship game, where he scored a team-high 23 points against Duncanville. During his senior season, Walter went to Link Academy in Branson, Mo, and, Helped Link Academy to a 24-1 record in 2022-23, earned McDonald All-American honor, and ranked as ESPN’s No. 17-rated player in the country.
At Baylor, he is leading his team in scoring as well as all Freshmen in the Big 12. At this rate, there is a good chance Walter is a one-and-done college player, but only time will tell.
