South Alabama True Freshman point guard Marcus “Smurf” Millender has entered the Transfer Portal.
Millender spent his freshman season leading South Alabama in Assists and Steals. Millender maintained an average of 9.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, achieving a 43.8% success rate in three-point shooting.
One of Millender’s season highlights was against Nichols State, where he was just one rebound short of a triple-double. Millender’s final stats in that game included 23 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals.
In high school, Millender was regarded as a 3-star recruit. However, in college, he has surpassed the performance of his class of 2023 point guard peers in Texas.
